A modular 3D printable 28mm - 32mm scale UnderNidus themed Trainyard perfect for scifi and grimdark wargaming layouts.
The main train is comprised of 4 parts for the Loco section and connects with OpenLOCK clips. A flatbed train car, also comprised of 4 parts, clips into the Loco section. The flatbed car can be used with or without a number of upper attachments that sit on top.
The tracks are 6" x 3" (150mm x 75mm) and can connect using OpenLOCK clips. Ports on the sides of each track section allow them to connect to the 6" (150mm) square riser tiles, which are supplied in 1" and 2" tall versions.
Comes with standalone Water Tower, Loading Crane, Overwalk Entranceway, and Shipping Container.
Combine with the UnderNidus District28 Large Chemical Tanks, the large Modular Pipeline, or the Machinery Clusters for a thematic grimdark layout. Sit your trainyard on top of some 4 inch modular industrial floor tiles with the Deathzone Modular Tiles set or 6 inch Scifi Modular Ground Tiles.

Building the Loading Crane
To build the Loading Crane, load two copies of the part labelled "UnderNidus SupplyDepot CraneTower Hook", mirror one of the copies on the x-axis. After printing, these two pieces will require glue. Then slide the completed hook into the part labelled "UnderNidus SupplyDepot CraneTower Arm" which clips into the Upper B building.
Building the Risers
The risers are 150mm square and come in 1" and 2" tall options. Each riser has 2 OpenLOCK ports on each side. Insert two OpenLOCK clips to connect two risers. They come with three 'upper' parts that fit on top. These allow you to mix and match the upper surface of the riser tile. The set also comes with an OpenLOCK set of stairs in both 1" and 2" heights, as well as a 6" wide ramp.
Building the Locomotive
The train loco comes in four parts that clip together. Attach the front component (Part A) to the central section (Part B) using two clips. If you wish to connect the loco to a traincar, attach (Part C) to your already assembled parts. Part C has an OpenLOCK link part that connects to the main Traincar component (UnderNidus SupplyDepot-Train-CarFlat). If you want to use the loco as a standalone model without connecting any cars, use (Part C Alt). Finally connect the lower section with wheels (Part D).
Recommended printing resolution - 0.2mm. All files can be printed on a 200mm x 200mm FDM print bed. Supports not needed.
Crane hook and grabber arms need to have mirrored version printed and will require glue before slotting into the corresponding struts.
Everything is ready to throw into your slicer of choice and start printing.
